Ant Control
How did they get in?
A number of ways, Ants may just have flown in through an open door or window and been hibernating for a while. They normally hibernate in the garden or can be under the building and then start building nests in the Spring.
Will they just go away?
Again, it depends on the species, the Black and Red Ants will go away eventually, however the subtropical species probably will not go away unless their food sources run out. Let us identify them and then we can give you treatment options.
What can be done?
With all Ant control, identification is paramount, there’s various ways to remove them from your home. Some methods are very quick and others might take a little longer. Let’s talk and together we'll find what works best for you. Unfortunately, despite testing all products and methods available today, there is very little that can be done for Red Ants in lawns or Yellow Meadow Ants.
How long will it take Healthguard to complete the Treatment?
Once we know what type they are, we can give you a set product to get rid of Ants, most of the time it can be just one visit .
Do I have to be out of the building during an ant pest control treatment?
No. We’ll give you all the guidance and health and safety information you need to keep your family, staff and customers safe during Ant control.
Can you make sure they never come back again?
A lot can be done to control Ants early (normally in the Spring) before you're inundated with them. Generally they can be cleared in just one visit. However, the truth is that it is not always possible to get rid of them forever. There is always a chance that they return the following year. Some of our customers are happy to have a yearly Ant treatment, which keeps their property pest free all year around. Others only do it when they feel inundated. Whatever your problem is, we'll give you real options to eradicate Ants and get your property or business cleared.
