Preventing a Wasp Nest:

There are proactive measures you can take to prevent wasps from infiltrating your home or place of business.

Windows and Doors:

Simply ensuring the security of your home can deter wasps from entering. Utilising standard fly screens not only keeps out flies but also acts as a barrier against wasps while maintaining a comfortable indoor temperature during warmer seasons.

Keep Bins Closed:

Open bins serve as an invitation to hungry wasps in search of an easy, sugary meal. Position your bins away from the house and always ensure the lid is securely closed to discourage their presence.

Early Nest Detection:

Each spring, take the time to inspect your property for potential wasp nests when they are still small and manageable, typically around the size of a golf ball. Check common spots such as the loft, garage, shed and beneath eaves to stop any emerging infestations at their earliest stage.
